Ncondezi Energy Ltd (AIM:NCCL, OTC:NCDZF) has confirmed its name will change to Solgenics Ltd on Friday, reflecting the company’s efforts to develop “clean, green power projects”.
The African-based AIM-listed energy firm’s ticker symbol will become “SGN” as the change takes effect at 8am on Friday, while Solgenics’ new website is expected to go live on March 6.
"I am delighted to confirm the Company's change of name and we look forward to rebranding as Solgenics Limited,” commented chief executive Hanno Pengilly.
“This provides a clear signal to all stakeholders that we are committed to developing clean, green power projects.”
Solgenics is developing a power plant in Mozambique’s Tete province for which offtake discussions “are progressing,” Pengilly added in the update.
