MGC Pharmaceuticals appoints new broker for London growth

MGC Pharmaceuticals Ltd (LSE:MXC, OTC:MGCLF, ASX:MXC) has appointed UK-based Peterhouse Capital as its lead broker on the LSE.

Peterhouse replaces Turner Pope with immediate effect, with the shift in focus part of MXC’s corporate strategy.

The new broker will be responsible for future equity capital market financings and corporate opportunities in the UK.

“The board is very pleased to welcome the appointment of Peterhouse Capital as lead broker for the LSE to play a key role in the company’s future funding strategies and corporate opportunities,” MGC’s non-executive chairman Brett Mitchell said.

Future set up by outgoing co-sec

The news comes as MXC’s company secretary David Lim retires from the position.

Lim oversaw the transition of MXC’s corporate compliance structure, creating a well-organised and well-positioned company for the future including the continued development and supply of accessible and ethically produced plant-inspired medicines,

MXC’s goal is to find or produce treatments for unmet medical conditions.

It has partnered with renowned institutions and academia to optimise the development of targeted plant-inspired medicines, to be produced in its EU-GMP Certified manufacturing facilities.

MGC Pharma has a growing patient base in Australia, the UK, Brazil and Ireland and has a global distribution footprint via an extensive network of commercial partners meaning that it is poised to supply the global market.
