ATOME Energy's chief tops up stake with £750,000 share buy

The shares were sold by a company owned by ATOME chairman Peter Levine

ATOME Energy PLC's (AIM:ATOM) chief executive has bought more than £750,000 worth of shares in the Latin America-focused green hydrogen business from a company owned by chairman Peter Levine.

Olivier Mussat bought 720,000 shares, equivalent to 2% of the share capital, at 106.2p each to take his stake to 3.95% in total.

Alpha Energies Invest, a vehicle owned by Levine, sold the stake reducing his beneficial and indirect holding to around 8.7mln shares.

In a statement, Levine commented: "Olivier has made an excellent impact on the Company since he joined ATOME from the IFC.

“I am pleased to facilitate this significant demonstration of his personal commitment which I believe is not only in his interests but also in the interest of all shareholders."
