4:05pm: Paycore Minerals, Journey Energy (TSX:JOY) shares end the day sharply higher
Paycore Minerals closed up 20% at $2.06, while Journey Energy gained 11% to $5.84, Fobi AI (TSX-V:FOBI, OTCQB:FOBIF) finished 8% higher to $0.55, and Idaho Champion (CSE:ITKO, OTCQB:GLDRF) ended up 5% at $0.10.
11:50am: Paycore Minerals, Journey Energy (TSX:JOY) shares make big gains
Paycore Minerals Inc (TSXV:CORE) shares surged 20% to $2.07 on Monday after the resource property developer announced that it has agreed to be acquired by i-80 Gold Corp. (TSX:IAU, NYSE:IAUX) in an all-stock transaction. Paycore shareholders will receive 0.68 of an i-80 Gold common share for each Paycore share held.
As well, shares of Journey Energy (TSX:JOY) continued to move higher Monday, up 11% to $5.88 following a 3% gain on Friday, as the Canadian exploration and production company said its proved developed producing (PDP) reserves climbed 66% in 2022 to 39.8 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), representing a 138% increase in value on a per-share basis.
Fobi AI (TSX-V:FOBI, OTCQB:FOBIF) Inc, meanwhile, reported that further to its previous announcement it has entered into a revised definitive share purchase agreement with vendor Francisco Fiúza Da Silva Beirâo Belo to acquire Passworks SA, a leading European digital wallet and mobile marketing company, for €500,000 in Fobi shares. Fobi AI (TSX-V:FOBI, OTCQB:FOBIF) stock moved up 10% to $0.56 following the announcement.

And, Idaho Champion (CSE:ITKO, OTCQB:GLDRF) rose 16% to $0.11 on Monday after discovery-focused exploration company announced the appointment of former Neo Lithium co-founder, director, and chief operating officer, Gabriel Pindar to its board of directors.
