Canada Silver Cobalt Works drills long nickel equivalent intersection near surface at Graal property in Quebec

Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc (TSX-V:CCW, OTCQB:CCWOF) (CCW) announced that it has reviewed and verified the assay results from its Phase 2 drill program at its Graal-Nourricier-Lac Suzanne (Graal) property in Quebec, which included an intersection of up to 28.9 meters (m) of 1.12% nickel equivalent (containing 0.8% nickel and 0.4% copper and other elements).

The resource projects developer said the near-surface mineralization has been intercepted as shallow as 51.5m downhole and contains up to 0.73% nickel and 0.41% copper.

“Phase 2 was a success in discovering both wider intervals and also continuity of nickel-copper sulphides within the MHY Zone,” CCW vice president exploration Gerhard Kiessling said in a statement.

“As we continue to explore the property, we are learning more and more about the geology and controlling structures responsible for the sulphide deposition,” Kiessling added.

CCW noted it completed 7,036m of diamond drilling as part of Phase 2 Graal for a total of 16,794.6m of drilling during the 2021-2022 drilling campaign.

The company previously revealed plans to spin out the 6,113-hectare Graal property, which is targeting nickel, copper, and cobalt mineralization, into a new company called Coniagas Battery Metals.

CCW added that it will provide an updated 43-101 compliant technical report that will include the new data from Phase 2 of diamond drilling for the spin out to Coniagas Battery Metals.

Canada Silver Cobalt Works is strategically positioned to become a Canadian leader in the silver-cobalt space. Its flagship Castle Mine and Castle property near Gowganda in northern Ontario features strong exploration upside for silver, cobalt, nickel, gold, and copper.
