Directa Plus PLC (AIM:DCTA, OTC:DTPKF) has upgraded its end-of-year revenue expectations from €10mln (£8.8mln) to €10.8mln following a strong December performance for the producer and supplier of graphene nanoplatelets-based products.
Directa’s new target represents a 25% year-on-year revenue increase, and does not take into account €2mln of deferred revenues carried into the new financial year.
Momentum has continued into 2023 with current trading in line with market expectations and robust growth across all verticals supported by a strengthening pipeline of potential opportunities, according to today’s trading update.
Founder and chief executive Giulio Cesareo commented: "We made significant progress in 2022, fuelled by several contract wins and an increasingly supportive market backdrop as large supply chains increasingly look to incorporate our graphene into products to enhance performance and to provide more sustainable solutions.
“This year, we have demonstrated that our G+ technology has the ability to sit at the heart of a range of sectors and serve customers globally.”
Directa’s focus now is on developing its core verticals which are able to generate significant product demand and higher recurring revenue from customers, noted Cesareo.
He said: “With an expanding network of customers and partners, a record order book and a strong balance sheet, I am confident in the group's ability to deliver on its growth ambitions for the year ahead.”
The current order book for delivery in 2023 stands at around €8.8mln.
Directa expects to announce its audited results for 2022 on 10 May 2023.
