Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd subsidiary Grease Monkey Games has joined forces with Mishimoto, the leader in car cooling aftermarket parts, for the upcoming Torque Drift 2 metaverse racing game.
The official on-chain game for Formula DRIFT, Torque Drift 2, will be built on the Polygon blockchain and dedicated to environmental responsibility.
The game will feature iconic Mishimoto parts such as intercoolers and gear shifters, allowing players to customise their in-game vehicles to achieve different levels of performance for an immersive and true-to-life drifting experience.
The game offers exclusive Mishimoto-licensed utility non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Second quarter release
Mishimoto joins a list of iconic motorsports brands participating in Torque Drift 2, which already includes Formula DRIFT, Nissan, and Liberty Walk.
A playable demo of Torque Drift 2 is slated for release in the second quarter of 2023, and will be launched in 2024 for PCs.
