Matador Mining Ltd (ASX:MZZ, OTCQX:MZZMF)’s 2022 prospecting activities have borne fruit with the discovery of anomalous gold mineralisation at the Long Range (formerly Grand Bay) target area along the Cape Ray Shear Zone in Newfoundland, Canada.

Exploration yielded a peak gold value of 0.77 g/t gold along with anomalous pathfinder elements including silver, bismuth, copper, lead, tellurium and more.

Auto giants revving up to meet electric vehicle (EV) demand are looking at making key changes in the battery supply chain. They are now eying lithium iron phosphate, or LFP batteries, which have low risk of catching fire and cost less as they use iron and phosphate, instead of scarce cobalt and nickel that go into traditional lithium-ion batteries.

Clearly, First Phosphate Corp., which is focused on extracting and refining advanced phosphate material for the LFP battery industry, is right on trend. The company with Saguenay, Quebec-based assets has newly listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) and traded at C$0.46 on Wednesday aftrenoon with the ticker symbol PHOS.

Delivra Health Brands Inc, formerly Harvest One Cannabis, has transformed into a profitable business during the second quarter of its fiscal year 2023, buoyed by strong demand for its popular brands including LivRelief and Dream Water.

For its fiscal 2Q ended December 31, 2022, the Vancouver-based consumer packaged goods company operating in the health and wellness sector, reported adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $0.14 million, compared to a loss of $0.95 million in the same period a year earlier. This represents a $1.09 million year-over-year improvement from continued operations, noted the firm.

Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTC:GMGMF) said it has received regulatory and local council approvals to manufacture batteries at commercial scale at its existing Richlands site in Brisbane, Australia.

To date, the Australia-based clean-tech company has been adhering to a research and development regulatory approval to make battery cell prototypes. In addition, this site already has council approvals allowing the company to manufacture its graphene.

Harry Hyman, chief executive of Primary Health Properties PLC (LSE:PHP, OTC:PHPRF), called the company’s operational and financial performance in 2022 resilient as he hailed a 27th year of dividend growth.

PHP, which owns surgeries and centres used by doctors, hiked the pay-out by 4.8% to 6.5p a share as net rental income grew by 3.5% to £141.5mln in the 12 months to 31 December 2022. This gave adjusted earnings of £88.7mln, up 6.6% from the year earlier.

Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF) hailed a record first-half result as revenues rose 54% and a strengthened balance sheet meant it is “fully funded to deliver on its current business plan” and on track to meet expectations for the full year.

The AI driver-monitoring technology specialist said it expects to report revenue of US$24.4mln for the six months to 31 December 2022, up from US$15.8mln a year earlier.

Anglo Asian Mining PLC (AIM:AAZ, OTC:AGXKF) said it has placed orders for the major items of equipment required for production from its new Zafar and Gilar mines, and also said it made progress with the upgrades to its Gedabek flotation plant.

The AIM-listed gold, copper and silver producer focused on Azerbaijan said the equipment for the Zafar and Gilar mines includes an underground fleet from Caterpillar and drilling machinery from Epiroc. The total equipment cost is around US$10mln, approximately 40% of which will be met from the company's existing cash reserves with the remaining being financed through vendor financing.

NorthWest Copper Corp (TSX-V:NWST) has announced the filing on SEDAR of its Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) report for its Kwanika-Stardust project, located approximately 140 kilometres northwest of Fort St. James, British Columbia. The PEA was prepared principally by Ausenco Engineering Canada Inc, an independent engineering consulting firm and is titled “Kwanika-Stardust Project NI 43-101 Technical Report on Preliminary Economic Assessment” dated February 17, 2023 with an effective date of January 4, 2023. The PEA results were previously disclosed in the company’s news release dated January 5, 2023. NEO Battery Materials Ltd. (TSX-V:NBM) provided the voting results of the company’s Annual General and Special Meeting held on February 21, 2023. All of the management nominees for election as director were elected by majority until the company’s next annual meeting of shareholders, and DeVisser Gray LLP was re-appointed as auditors. VolitionRx (NYSE-A:VNRX) announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 4,945,000 shares of its common stock, including the exercise in full of the underwriter's overallotment option, at a public offering price of $1.75 per share for gross proceeds of approximately $8.7 million. Volition said it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for research and continued product development, clinical studies, product commercialization, working capital and other general corporate purposes, including potential strategic acquisitions.
