Kovo HealthTech Corporation (TSX-V:KOVO) is welcoming medical billing veteran Meade Atkinson as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
Atkinson, an RCM and technology expert with over 20 years in the business, has led teams that “outperform revenue growth and competitiveness goals,” according to Kovo.
The new CRO previously held positions at PractiseSuite, 2, Health Prime and Genesis Healthcare Solutions. He also serves on the boards of The Beryl Institute and SurgeryLink.

In the new role, Atkinson will be responsible for leading and building Kovo's revenue-driving sales teams, forging long-term strategic partnerships and client relationships, according to a release.
He will also be responsible for Kovo's national reach and growth across the digital medical billing marketplace.
"I'm excited to help Kovo harness its industry-leading technology and strong client-service reputation to take the company's growth and profitability to the next level," Atkinson told investors in a statement.
Atkinson noted that the billing-as-a-service and RCM markets “continue to offer stable growth and opportunity even in the face of challenging macroeconomic conditions.”
