EverGen Infrastructure Corp (TSX-V:EVGN) told investors it has landed multiple new contracts with the British Columbia regional district, for the company’s Sea to Sky Soils organic waste processing and composting facility.
The company, in a statement, noted that it will process organic waste from the district at its facility.
“Contracts such as these de-risk our core business and represent another step towards our goal of providing solutions for over 300,000 tonnes of organic waste per annum in the region,” CEO Chase Edgelow said.
The facility is operated in partnership with Lil’wat First Nation and primarily processes inbound organic waste for a contracted tipping fee.
It produces high-quality organic compost and soils for farmers, gardeners, and developers.
EverGen highlighted that contracts such as these provide the facility with increased certainty on the supply of organic feedstock through 2025 with a preferred partner.
