GB Group falls as 'challenging conditions' continue

GB Group PLC (LSE:GBG), the digital location, identification and fraud software company, slipped 7% to 321p after a trading update said “challenging conditions” continued into the second half of the year.

Specifically, the group said issues have persisted for its cryptocurrency and internet economy customers.

The group also said that it has seen an incremental lengthening in its sales cycles because of the macroeconomic uncertainty, which has delayed some expected customer contracts.

"The difficult macroeconomic environment has been well publicised and it is disappointing to have seen the impact on certain parts of our business,” said chief executive Chris Clark.
