Bango PLC (AIM:BGO, OTCQX:BGOPF) has added a new partnership with Dropbox, enabling the cloud storage provider to offer its subscription packages through a global network of telecom operators.
The AIM-listed company's platform allows companies to launch consumer offers through channels such as telecom carrier billing, digital wallets and subscription bundling.
For Dropbox to grow its user base, the partnership allows it to offer subscriptions via Bango's hundreds of mobile, fixed and broadband telcos across six continents.
Last year, Bango had its busiest year for new additions to its platform, becoming the number one telco integrations partner for both Amazon and Google.
"As work has become more distributed, people need to access their content and accomplish tasks easily, from anywhere. This creates natural synergies with telecom operators who provide broadband and 5G services," said Dropbox vice president of business development, Jamie Young Perlman.
Anil Malhotra, chief marketing officer at Bango, said: "Dropbox has incredibly high user engagement and retention, making it a natural choice for telecom operators as the need for cloud storage and collaboration services increases."
