Live Company pens contract with Detroit Zoo, announces CFO resignation

Live Company Group PLC (AIM:LVCG) revealed its Bricklive arm has won a new contract in the US, following an announcement last night that chief financial officer John Millar has stepped down.

Millar has left due to personal reasons and will no longer be a director, although he will assist the group on a part-time basis, a statement said.

Separately, Live Company announced that Bricklive Animal Paradise and Supersized have signed a contract with RWS Entertainment for supersized and regular-sized animals to be on display at Detroit Zoo.

According to a statement, the lego-like animals, including dolphins and gorillas, will be on display from 27 May to 4 September this year.

“The larger zoo contracts generate revenue roughly between £125,000 and £250,000 each so they are an important part of the BRICKLIVE business,” said chairman David Ciclitira.

Live Company said the Bricklive group is slowly returning to pre-pandemic levels, with many new contracts being signed.

“We continue to look at new markets in the Middle East not currently covered with our existing partners, as well as a renewed focus on tour utilisation with a streamlined team,” the statement said.
