Foran Mining closed up 8% at $3.30, while North American Construction Group (NYSE:NOA) rose 6% to $22, BioHarvest Sciences stock ended up 20% at $0.245, and Iris Energy eased 3% to $4.15.
11:55am: Foran Mining, BioHarvest Sciences shares advance sharply
Foran Mining Corporation (TSX-V:FOM, OTCQX:FMCXF) shares jumped 8% to $3.30 on Thursday after the copper-zinc-gold-silver exploration and development company announced initial drill results from its winter drill program at the new Tesla discovery in Saskatchewan, which included 4.04% copper equivalent over 17.4 metres.
As well, shares of North American Construction Group (NYSE:NOA) Ltd gained 8% to $22.31 as the provider of heavy construction and mining services said consistent operating conditions and equipment utilization of 75% resulted in the company posting financial quarterly records for EBITDA, EBIT, earnings per share and free cash flow during 4Q 2022.

BioHarvest Sciences Inc. (CSE:BHSC, OTC:CNVCF), meanwhile, reported that it has partnered with former National Football League (NFL) wide receiver Yo Murphy to supply its VINIA nutraceutical supplement to aspiring football players preparing for this month’s NFL Scouting Combine and the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft. BioHarvest Sciences stock popped 17% to $0.24 following the announcement.
And, Iris Energy Limited (NASDAQ:IREN) shares rose 7% to $4.57 on Thursday after the sustainable Bitcoin mining company told investors it expanded its data centre capacity in British Columbia by more than five times to 160 megawatts (MW) across three sites during the three months to end-December 2022.
