Moneysupermarket.com: Leading American investment bank a buyer ahead of co's prelims

Moneysupermarket.com (LSE:MONY) Group PLC is expected to report solid full-year results on Thursday, according to a research note by American investment bank Citi.

The company's strong financial performance over the past year has helped its stock gain approximately 21%, in contrast to FTSE 250's decline of around 9% over the same period.

Citi predicts that 2023 will be another year of steady growth for price comparison site, as rising inflationary trends drive increased customer traffic to price comparison websites, despite the potential for lower conversion rates.

Furthermore, the bank believes that the company's valuation is reasonable, as evidenced by a dividend yield of approximately 5%.

Citi has maintained its ‘buy’ rating on the stock. Of the 14 banks and brokerages following the stock, nine are positive.

The consensus price target is 249p, around 5% ahead of the current share price of 233.6p, down 1.7% on the day.
