ImagineAR to deliver augmented reality to prominent Hungarian football club team app

ImagineAR Inc. (CSE:IP, OTCQB:IPNFF) announced that it has been chosen by Hungarian marketing company SPORTFIVE to deliver immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences fully integrated with the official team mobile app for Ferencvárosi Torna Club.

This opportunity was spearheaded by Hype Sports Innovation in their current GVA3 program, the company said. Once the experiential proof of concept is successfully delivered, it is expected to lead to a multi-year software development kit (SDK) license agreement.

"We have been part of the Hype Sports Innovation program since 2021 and greatly appreciate the opportunities to partner fan engagement mobile AR campaigns with top sports clubs around the world,” Imagine AR CEO Alen Paul Silverrstieen said in a statement.

“SPORTFIVE is a top-level sports marketing company in Hungary and will be our first integration of the ImagineAR SDK utilizing Flutter,” he added. “We hope this activation with the top soccer club in Hungary will grow our global partnership with SPORTFIVE and their existing clientele."

Founded in 1899, Ferencvárosi Torna Club are 33-time Hungarian national champions and 24-time Hungarian Cup winners. The squad has once again qualified to eligible to play in the international cups in the spring after winning a Europa League group loaded with talent including Monaco (third in the French league), Trabzonspor (won the Turkish league) and Crvena Zvezda (Serbian league).

Since the European Football Association introduced group stages in its cup competitions, no Hungarian football team has progressed from this stage.

ImagineAR, based in Vancouver, has developed an 'AR-as-a-Service' platform that enables sports teams and organizations of any size to create and implement their own AR campaigns with no programming or technology experience.
