DX (Group) PLC said it will "robustly defend” corporate espionage allegations carried in a Sunday newspaper, adding that it will respond to them in “due course”.
The company also confirmed this was part of a legal claim submitted to the High Court by lawyers for Tuffnell Parcels Express “in relation to confidential competitor information being obtained by DX in the past”.
“Matters referred to in the claim were subject to a corporate governance inquiry and investigation by DX, the conclusions of which were reported by the company in an announcement made on 20 September 2022,” it added.
DX said it could not comment further as the matter was subject to legal proceedings.
The company’s shares fell 9% to 27p.
