Tartisan Nickel Corp. (CSE:TN, OTCQX:TTSRF) said it has completed three phases of environmental baseline studies at its Kenbridge nickel project in the Kenora Mining District of Northwestern Ontario and that a fourth phase will be conducted in the winter and spring of 2023.
The company noted in a statement that Knight Piesold Consulting and Blue Heron Environmental had been retained to carry out the time-sensitive environmental baseline studies.
Work to be conducted during “Phase 4" includes Bathymetry for receiving waterbodies and lakes surrounding the project; Fisheries Studies on creeks and lakes surrounding the project; Surface Water Quality Sampling from installed monitoring stations; and a Stage 2 Geochemistry Assessment.

Tartisan CEO Mark Appleby said baseline studies at the project signified the company's commitment to an approximate three years to production timeline.
“The company is continuing to implement all necessary steps in the permitting and mining approval process,” he said.
He added: “The Kenbridge PEA outlined robust economics and established the value to the Ontario supply chain with the implementation of the Kenbridge nickel project.”
Tartisan Nickel is a Canadian-based battery metals and mine development company whose flagship asset is the Kenbridge Nickel Deposit located in Northwestern Ontario.
