Live Company Group PLC (AIM:LVCG) has said it expects to sell out its Formula E Race event taking place in Cape Town later this month.
The events company said in a statement that it has already sold 15,000 tickets from a potential 21,000, and the expectation is to sell before the event on 25 February.
Corporate hospitality tickets are sold out, with Live Company expecting 3,400 VIP guests and hosting a 30-person suite in the trackside lounge.
Additionally, the group said it has attained several smaller sponsorships agreements after failing to obtain a title sponsorship. Agreements have been signed with the City of Cape Town, Western Cape Government, Nissan, Uber, South African Tourism, E-TV and Nedbank.
“We are delighted with our current sponsors and so pleased they could join us for this inaugural Cape Town race. We are currently in advanced discussions to sign a Title Sponsor from this list for next year's race,” said Live Company chairman David Ciclitira.
