Generation Hemp Inc (OTCQB:GENH) has announced a 385% year-over-year increase in sales of its Rowdy Rooster Hemp animal bedding product, with the biggest jump happening in recent months.
The sustainable green energy company said it attributes recent sales jump to an increase in backyard chicken owners' heightened awareness of chicken health needs surrounding coop conditions and feed, as there is ample data supporting hemp as the healthiest bedding material.
Generation Hemp noted the product is targeted for small animals of all types, including rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, guinea pigs, and especially chickens.

The product, which is made of US-grown and milled hemp hurd, was originally launched in late September 2021, according to the company.
Generation Hemp, which is in the process of changing the name of its parent company to Evergreen Sustainable Enterprises Inc, is a Dallas/Fort Worth-based sustainable green energy company with operations in both the Bitcoin mining industry and the hemp industry.
The company’s Bitcoin operations are located in San Jose, Costa Rica, and hemp operations are located in western Kentucky and Denver, Colorado.
