Delta 9 Cannabis Inc (TSX:DN) has said it will open its 41st retail cannabis store in Winnipeg, Western Canada tomorrow, February 9, 2023.
“Our retail strategy continues to find the best available real estate in high-traffic and high-population density areas, and this store opening showcases our commitment to this strategy," Delta 9 CEO John Arbuthnot said in a statement.
"Delta 9's retail network has expanded by 25 stores in the past twelve months and we expect to continue expansion of our retail portfolio across Canada this year," he added.

The vertically integrated cannabis company said the new 2,300 square-foot store is in the West End of downtown Winnipeg at 625 Sargent Ave. The West End is a mix of six diverse residential neighbourhoods including Armstrong's Point, Colony, Daniel McIntyre, Minto, Sargent Park, Spence, St. Matthews, West Broadway, and Wolseley.
Delta 9 noted that its convenient retail cannabis concept, combined with a strategic focus on high-traffic shopping destinations has been a successful part of its overall vertical integration strategy. Tenants within a 3-kilometre range include the University of Winnipeg, RBC Convention centre, Canada Life Centre (home of the Winnipeg Jets), and the Forks in the downtown Winnipeg center.
The company said the location offers plenty of free parking spaces, easy access from the street and a new wheelchair ramp providing easy access to the building. The new store offers customers a modern shopping decor, highly trained staff, and a wide range of products, including dried cannabis flower, cannabis oil, edibles, drinkables, vape pens, and concentrates, it added.
Store hours are 10.00am to 10.00pm, Sunday to Thursday and 10.00am to 11,00pm, Friday and Saturday and it will offer a click-and-collect service.
Delta 9 Cannabis is focused on bringing the highest quality cannabis products to market. The company sells cannabis products through its wholesale and retail sales channels and sells its cannabis grow pods to other businesses.
Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc, is a licensed producer of medical and recreational cannabis and operates an 80,000-square-foot production facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Delta 9 owns and operates a chain of retail stores under the Delta 9 Cannabis Store brand.
