Marula Mining seeks AIM listing

Marula Mining PLC (AQSE:MARU), a mining and development company focused on South Africa, Zambia and Tanzania, said it is seeking a listing on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM Market.

Chief executive Jason Brewer said the board believes a listing on AIM “should prove to be transformational for the company".

Curently on the Aquis Exchange, he said the board believes stepping up an AIM listing will provide the company “the chance to access a diverse set of investors and increased liquidity and offers a new pool of investors the opportunity to invest in our critical mineral assets, as we collectively push toward the global green transition”.

Speaking to Proactive last year, Brewer and chairman Richard Lloyd said that they expected to start lithium this year.

Marula is an African-focused battery metals investment and exploration mining company listed on the AQSE Growth Market.

The group has interests in “several high-value mine projects in Africa,” and plans to build and expand its interests across the continent.

Cairns Financial Advisers will act as the nominated adviser for the listing.
