4:05pm: Mineral Mountain Resources, Mosaic Minerals shares add to gains late day
Mineral Mountain Resources closed up 56% at $0.14, while TNR Gold rose10% to $0.055, Cathedra Bitcoin finished 12% higher to $0.145, and Mosaic Minerals ended up 26% at $0.145.
11:50am: Mineral Mountain Resources, TNR Gold shares make big gains
Mineral Mountain Resources Ltd (TSX-V:MMV) shares jumped 33% to $0.12 on Thursday after the junior explorer announced the discovery of a major new zone of high-grade gold mineralization in iron formation around the Standard Mine Target in the northeastern portion of the Rochford Mining District in South Dakota.
Mineral Mountain noted that 16 grab samples averaging 64.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold were collected from two new surface zones of mineralization during geologic field mapping.
As well, shares of TNR Gold Corp (TSX-V:TNR, OTC:TRRXF) gained 20% to $0.06 as the green energy metals royalty and gold company revealed that it has successfully closed a July 2022 royalty purchase agreement with an Ontario limited partnership affiliated with Lithium Royalty Corp (LRC), for the sale of a portion of its net smelter returns (NSR) royalty involving Ganfeng Lithium’s Mariana Lithium project in Argentina, receiving US$9 million.

Cathedra Bitcoin Inc (TSXV:CBIT), meanwhile, reported that it has entered into a deal to lease a 2.5-megawatt bitcoin mining facility in Washington State on January 29, 2023, agreeing to make lease payments of US$108,000 per month for an initial term of 24 months, a rate equivalent to US$0.06 per kilowatt hour, including all electricity costs. Cathedra Bitcoin stock moved up 15% to $0.15 following the announcement.
And, Mosaic Minerals Corporation (CSE:MOC) shares rose 13% to $0.13 on Thursday after the mineral exploration company announced the acquisition of 110 mining claims adjacent to the eastern edge of Patriot Battery Metals’ Corvette project in James Bay, Quebec, where recent drilling intersected 52.2 meters of 3.34% Li2O.
