European Metals Holdings Ltd (AIM:EMH, ASX:EMH, OTCQX:EMHLF) (EMH) said DRA Global has been appointed to complete the definitive feasibility study (DFS) on the Cinovec lithium project in the Czech Republic.
EMH said DRA will build on the optimisation work carried out by the Cinovec team in 2022 with a view to the completion of the DFS in the fourth quarter of 2023.
DRA has a track record spanning more than three decades and has carried out more than 7,500 studies, EMH added.
In a statement, Keith Coughlan, EMH’s chief executive, said: "We are pleased to have secured a company of DRA's calibre, with a proven track record of delivering critical pieces of work like the Cinovec DFS in a timely and efficient manner.
“It is not expected that this will delay the critical path of the project, as during this time the company will be in the process of finalising permitting, offtake and project finance matters.”
Cinovec is being developed by Geomet, which is 49% owned by EMH and 51% by Czech-state-owned CEZ.
