Atlantic Lithium quarterly report highlights progress at Ewoyaa project

Atlantic Lithium Limited (AIM:ALL, OTCQX:ALLIF, ASX:A11) has posted its latest quarterly activities and cash flow report, as required for its listing in Australia, with the company noting a cash position of A$19.1mln as of the end of December 2022.

The African-focussed lithium exploration firm, in the statement, highlighted the progress made in the quarter towards its stated goal of delivering Ghana's first lithium mine.

During the three-month period, it submitted a mining license application for the Ewoyaa Lithium project and completed programmes in the field.

An infill diamond core and reverse circulation drilling program at Ewoyaa was completed, with assay results reported for some 26,423 metres of drilling, located outside of the project’s currently defined resource area, providing potential for a future resource upgrade.

At the same time, a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract was awarded for Ewoyaa with Primero Group hired for the key piece of work.

In the boardroom, Keith Muller was appointed as the company’s new chief operating officer and Roux Terblanche was appointed as Ewoyaa project manager.
