Sustainable biopesticides specialist Eden Research PLC (AIM:EDEN, OTCQB:EDNSF) said its flagship biofungicide, Mevalone, has received authorisation for use in home gardens in Italy.
The product, which is marketed as 3LOGY in the country, has already been given the green light for agricultural use across a wide range of crops.
With the new authorisation, 3LOGY can now be sold to gardeners for home use, giving them the benefit of avoiding higher-than-permitted pesticide residue levels.
The product is distributed exclusively in Italy by Sipcam-Oxon, which has extensive experience with 3LOGY and has supported significant label extensions in Spain and Portugal.
This new approval is expected to enable Sipcam to expand the market for 3LOGY into homes across the country.
