Tempus Resources notches "most successful year to-date" in 2022 at Elizabeth with six gold veins under development

Tempus Resources Ltd (ASX:TMR, TSX-V:TMRR) had an exciting year of exploration at the Elizabeth Gold Project in Canada, delineating two new high-grade gold veins to bring total veins under development to six on the project tenure.

Of particular note were the Blue Vein and No.9 Vein, newly discovered last year alongside extensions to the West and Main Vein as well as the new Ella Zone.

Five holes from 40 in the 2022 drilling program assayed as bonanza grades, greater than one ounce of gold per tonne – seven holes are still pending.

TMR intends to incorporate these high-grade finds into an updated resource estimate for the Elizabeth Project in British Columbia, which has not been upgraded since it was estimated at 206,000 ounces of gold (inferred) in 2009.

Targeting resource update for H1 2023

“2022 was our most successful year to date at the Elizabeth Gold Project,” Tempus Resources president and CEO Jason Bahnsen said.

“We successfully delineated two new high-grade vein structures, the No. 9 Vein and the Blue Vein.

“The No. 9 Vein is proving very promising with wide zones of high-grade gold intersected in the first 10 drill holes (including 28.1 g/t gold over 28.5 metres).

“We now have six vein sets under development that will contribute to our updated JORC/NI43-101 resource estimate for both Blackdome and Elizabeth gold projects in the first half of 2023.”

Apart from work on the Elizabeth Project, Tempus has also been advancing exploration at the Zamora Projects in Ecuador, where the company is reinterpreting geophysics and geochemical data completed last year to produce drill targets, as well as general environmental water sampling and reporting.
