Valeo Pharma CEO Steve Saviuk joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has been told by Health Canada they have accepted a news submission for Veru’s New Drug Submission for sabizabulin for COVID-19. Saviuk telling Proactive Sabizabulin is an antiviral and anti-inflammatory agent being developed for the treatment of hospitalized moderate to severe COVID-19 adult patients at high risk for acute respiratory distress syndrome and death. The company will now wait to hear back from Health Canada.
