Andrada Mining Ltd (AIM:ATM, OTC:AFTTF), the tin producer formerly known as AfriTin, has published its inaugural sustainability report.
Anthony Viljoen, chief executive, said: ”We recognise that the integration of ESG principles into our business model is an important step in the company's evolution into a significant tech-metals producer."
Highlights in the period from 1 March 2021 to 28 February 2022 included 75% of senior managers at the Uis mine being women; scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gases at less than 8.2% of the Equator Principles Annual Threshold and all 315 staff at the Namibia-based mine being local (full details here).
