4:05pm: Gratomic, District Metals holds onto gains late day
American Eagle Gold closed up 3% at $0.20. while Gratomic rose 11% to $0.30, Small Pharma finished 10% higher to $0.11, and District Metals ended up 13% at $0.17.
11:30am: American Eagle Gold, Small Pharma shares make big gains
American Eagle Gold Corp (TSX-V:AE) shares jumped 18% to $0.23 on Wednesday after the junior explorer announced what it called promising assay results from the third and fourth holes of the 2022 program on its NAK copper-gold porphyry project in British Columbia, which included 527 metres of 0.45% copper equivalent from surface.

As well, shares of Gratomic Inc (TSXV:GRAT) gained 11% to $0.30 as the company focused on becoming a leading global graphite supplier said it has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with Graphex Group Limited and its US subsidiary, Graphex Technologies LLC, with an aim of combining Gratomic's raw material supply capabilities with Graphex's downstream processing expertise to solve an industry-wide supply-demand gap by delivering “an end-to-end supply of graphite from mine to battery” with facilities to be located in North America.
Small Pharma Inc (TSX-V:DMT, OTCQB:DMTTF), meanwhile, reported that SPL026, intravenous N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), with supportive therapy for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) met the primary endpoint in its Phase IIa clinical trial, demonstrating a statistically significant and clinically relevant reduction in depressive symptoms at two-weeks post-dose, as compared to the placebo. Small Pharma stock moved up 25% to $0.125 following the announcement.
And, District Metals Corp (TSXV:DMX) shares rose 13% to $0.17 on Wednesday after the prospective mineral properties developer hailed Swedish media reports that a majority within the Swedish parliament is likely to support the exploration and mining of uranium in the country, ending a moratorium in place since 2018.
