Shares t42 IoT Tracking Solutions PLC jumped 8% after it announced it had received its first order for 1,000 container tracking devices from an unnamed US client.
The stock, which has lost 75% of its value in the last year, was up 0.45p at 5.85p in late morning trade, valuing the business at a little over £3mln.
In an announcement earlier, the company said it will also provide tracking and monitoring software services and connectivity solutions as part of the order, which includes monthly payments over a 36-month period to cover device and data costs.
The client, a leading provider of unified views of in-transit logistics, aims to detect and correct non-compliance within supply chains, investors were told.
