Cypress Development Corp (TSX-V:CYP, OTCQX:CYDVF) said its board of directors has approved a name change to Century Lithium Corp.
In a statement, the Vancouver-based advanced-stage lithium company noted that along with the name change, the company will also change its ticker symbol on the TSX Venture Exchange. The company didn’t disclose its new anticipated ticker symbol.
The company said it will issue a news release announcing the date on which it will start trading under the new name, symbol and CUSIP number. The name change remains subject to TSXV approval.
Cypress Development is focused on developing its wholly-owned Clayton Valley Lithium project in the US Silver State of Nevada. Cypress is in the pilot stage of testing on material from its lithium-bearing claystone deposit and advancing towards completing a feasibility study and permitting, with the goal of becoming a domestic producer of lithium for the rapidly expanding electric vehicle and battery storage market.
