i(x) Net Zero PLC (AIM:IX.) has announced that Pär Lindström, its current chief investment officer, will become the investment company’s new chief executive replacing Steve Oyer who has stepped down with immediate effect.
Lindström is expected to continue as chief investment officer.
"It is an honour to take on the role of CEO and I look forward to working with the Board to maximise the impact of our current investments, expand the portfolio and support the drive towards a net zero future," he said in a stock market statement.
Non-executive chair Nick Hurd, meanwhile, added: “The board remains confident in the company's market opportunity given growing global momentum in the transition to net zero.
“Pär brings decades of investment and M&A experience to the CEO role, which will be invaluable as the company looks to take advantage of opportunities in current markets. We welcome him to his new role.
“We wish to thank Steve for his service over the last five years and his contribution in helping to steer the company's IPO on AIM last year."
