There has been a shuffling of the boardroom pack at THG PLC (LSE:THG) with the appointment of Damian Sanders as chief financial officer.
He takes the reins from John Gallemore, who will take on the role of chief operating officer of the struggling eCommerce group.
A senior accountant with the auditing firm Deloitte, Sanders has been a non-executive director of THG for more than two years. He headed the audit committee while also overseeing the firm’s divisional re-organisation.
In a statement, THG chairman and former ITV boss Lord Allen welcomed the appointment, commenting: “Damian has significant experience as a former senior audit partner and that, coupled with his wide industry and listed company experience, in addition to his in-depth knowledge of THG's businesses and its people, will prove hugely beneficial to us as we continue to grow and build further on our corporate governance standards."
