Mr Beast collab to boost tinyBuild’s Hello Neighbour 2

A team-up with Mr Beast, Youtube’s number 1 content creator, should hopefully deliver some traction for Hello Neighbour developer tinyBuild Inc (LSE:TBLD), that’s according to stockbroker Peel Hunt.

The broker, in a note, reacted to Monday’s trading update repeated a ‘buy’ recommendation but trimmed its target price to 185p from 200p – Peel Hunt says it ‘feels exposed’ at the top end of earnings (EBITDA) expectations.

Nevertheless, analyst James Lockyear managed to strike a broadly positive tone in today’s write up.

“tinyBuild looksto FY23E with confidence, with positive early indicators,” Lockyear said.

“Its MrBeast/Hello Neighbor 2 YouTube collaboration should hopefully see more traction, along with the benefit of the TV series and events such as the expansion of the name on Roblox.”

“tinyBuild expects to see revenue in line with expectations.

“Consensus has not changed since the interims when tinyBuild expected to be at least in line, and before new releases such as Hello Neighbor 2 in December (which has not been as successful as hoped).

“Overall in 2H22A, tinyBuild released eight new titles including Tinykin, SpiderHeck, and Asterigos.

“SpiderHeck, for one, showed tinyBuild’s ability to listen to gamers’ needs (controls weren’t that simple) and fix the issue (to see its rating increase).”

“Moreover, it will have lots of insights from following Hello Neighbor 2 that should allow it enhance the game as time goes on.”
