Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) said it has sent its condolences to the family of Gabriel Dodo Ndoke, Cameroon's Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, who passed away suddenly in the early hours of Saturday morning.
"We are deeply saddened to learn that the Minister of Mines, Gabriel Dodo Ndoke, passed away over the weekend,” said Oriole’s chief executive Tim Livesy in a statement.
“Minister Ndoke was highly supportive of the company's work in Cameroon and, through his leadership, has helped to position Cameroon as an emerging and highly-attractive mining destination. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.," he added.
