Chimeric Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:CHM) confirms that all patients dosed in the third patient cohort of the City of Hope National Medical Center’s Phase 1A CHM 1101 (CLTX CAR T) cell therapy clinical trial have moved beyond the 28-day follow-up period.
The patients have passed this milestone without experiencing any dose-limiting toxicities, which means the trial can advance to the fourth and final dose cohort.
The Phase 1A study aims to enrol 18 to 36 patients with MMP2+ recurrent or progressive glioblastoma (GBM) across four dose levels.
No dose-limiting toxicities
Study objectives are to evaluate the safety and efficacy of CLTX CAR T and to establish recommended dosing for a Phase 2 trial.
Patients in the third dose cohort received a total dose of 240 by 106 CHM 1101 (CLTX CAR T) cells through dual routes of intratumoral (ICT) and intraventricular (ICV) administration.
During the final dose cohort, patients will be treated with a total dose of 440 by 106 CHM 1101 CAR T cells by ICT and ICV administration.
