Copper Fox Metals Inc (TSX-V:CUU, OTCQX:CPFXF) has posted assays from six of 11 holes drilled as part of last year's metallurgical drill program on the Schaft Creek project in British Columbia in a bid to better inform metal recoveries and comminution characteristics in the early part of mine life.
Schaft Creek is one of the largest undeveloped porphyry copper deposits in North America and the holes were sunk across the project's mineralized zones - Liard (six holes), Paramount (three holes) and West Breccia (two holes).
Africa Oil Corp (TSX:AOI) has revealed full-year 2022 production rates in line with the mid-point of its guidance range as it prepares for a busy year ahead.
In an operational update, the oil and gas company said Prime Oil & Gas Coöperatief UA recorded an average daily working interest production of around 23,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) and net entitlement production of 25,600 boepd, in each case net to Africa Oil's 50% shareholding.
Maverix Metals Inc (TSX:MMX) confirmed that the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (commercial list) has granted a final order approving the previously announced acquisition of Maverix Metals by Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp by way of a plan of arrangement in accordance with the Canada Business Corporations Act. Under the terms of the arrangement, Triple Flag will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Maverix for the consideration of either US$3.92 in cash or 0.360 of a common share of Triple Flag per Maverix share held. Subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the remaining conditions to closing contained in the arrangement agreement dated November 9, 2022, between Maverix and Triple Flag, the arrangement is expected to be effected on or about January 19, 2023. Following completion of the arrangement, Maverix expects to delist its common shares from the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.

There were no reservations or modified opinions in the former auditor’s reports on the company’s financial statements during the period the former auditor acted as the company's auditor and no reportable events between the parties, Wellbeing noted. The Toronto Stock Exchange has reported that The Valens Company (TSX:VLNS, OTCQX:VLNCF) shares will be delisted at the close of trading on January 18, 2023, after completion of the transaction whereby SNDL agreed to acquire all of the company's issued and outstanding shares by way of a plan of arrangement under the Canada Business Corporations Act, for which shareholders of the company will receive, for each share held, 0.3334 of an SNDL share.
