Triad Group PLC shares rose as much as 7.9% early on following an upbeat trading statement from the digital solutions consultancy.
“I continue to be delighted at the speed and vigour of our recovery from the extraordinary delays (not of our own making) we experienced for a period of several months during the summer of 2022,” said chairman Dr John Rigg in a statement.
“Now that the Christmas holidays are behind us, we are looking forward to a very strong fourth quarter, which I am confident will be the basis for a successful following year.”
Last month, the company reported disappointing first-half results for the six months to end-September due to unprecedented circumstances, including the invasion of Ukraine, effects of Covid-19, and a near paralysis in some areas of government procurement as a result of political turmoil.
The shares were up 2.50p, or 2.6%, at 97.50p in mid-morning trading.
