Cardiol Therapeutics (TSX:CRDL, NASDAQ:CRDL) CEO David Elsley joined Steve Darling from Proactive with news the company has hit a major milestone the first patient being enrolled in a Phase II open-label pilot study of CardiolRx in patients with recurrent pericarditis. Elsley telling Proactive the study designed to evaluate improvement in objective measures of disease to assess the feasibility of weaning concomitant background therapy including corticosteroids, while taking CardiolRx. The study is expected to enroll 25 patents.
