Belluscura PLC (AIM:BELL) fell over 10% on the junior market on Friday after investors reacted poorly to the medtech company's year-end trading update.
Although a number of achievements were mentioned in the report, including the successful US deployment of the company’s X-PLOR portable oxygen device and record unit sales in December, the firm posted an adjusted EBITDA loss for the year, albeit as expected.
“The next generation X-PLOR, launched in September 2022, has been well received by the market based upon its performance and reliability,” the company noted.
Belluscura shares were changing hands at 39.25p on Friday afternoon, giving the company a £48mln market capitalisation.
