G2 Energy Corp (CSE:GTOO, OTC:GTGEF) has announced the appointment of Oleg Scherbina as interim CFO of the company, effective immediately.
In a statement, G2 said Scherbina was a highly experienced certified public accountant (CPA) with more than 20 years of experience in financial management and accounting with various publicly listed companies.
He has previously served as the CFO of a number of TSX-V-listed companies such as Westminster Resources, Jaxon Mining, and Global Cobalt.

G2’s board of directors accepted Sam Wong’s immediate resignation as CFO and director of the company as he was unable to focus his attention on G2 duties due to bandwidth issues, the company said.
G2 also announced the appointment of Gabriel Monteiro Queiroz as a director of the company, effective immediately.
Queiroz brings in a solid background in finance and economics, as well as several years of corporate finance experience, the company noted.
He replaces Matthew Roma who has resigned as a director of the company to focus his attention on other professional opportunities.
G2 Energy is focused on acquiring and developing overlooked, low-risk, high-return opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
