Cantex Mine Development stock jumps on lead-zinc and silver results plus more daily small cap movers

Precious and base metals assays boosted shares of Cantex Mine Development Corp Thursday plus other big percentage movers on news from the small and micro cap space

Cantex Mine Development (TSX:CD) closed up 15% at $0.195, while OpSens rose 13% to $1.98, Nevada King Gold finished 11% higher to $0.345, and Ximen Mining ended up 15% at $0.15.

11:40am: Ximen Mining, Cantex Mine Development (TSX:CD) shares see big gains

Cantex Mine Development (TSX:CD) Corp shares climbed 18% to $0.20 on Thursday after the junior explorer announced drill results from the Main Zone at its 100%-owned North Rackla claim block in Canada’s Yukon Territory, which included 23.5 metres (m) of 20.5 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 8.34% combined lead and zinc.

As well, shares of OpSens Inc. (TSX:OPS) gained 11% to $1.95 as the medical device cardiology-focused company revealed that its first-quarter fiscal 2023 consolidated revenues rose 26% year over year to $10.2 million, a new quarterly record.

Nevada King Gold Corp (TSXV:NKG), meanwhile, reported assay results from four vertical reverse circulation (RC) holes recently completed at its Atlanta Gold (TSX:ATG) Mine Project located 264 kilometres northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada, while included 82.3m of 3.6 g/t gold. Nevada King Gold stock moved up 13% to $0.35.

And, Ximen Mining Corp (TSX-V:XIM, OTCQB:XXMMF) shares shot up 19% to $0.155 on Thursday after the precious metals projects developer told investors it has submitted its final responses to the draft environmental permit for its 100%-owned Kenville Gold Mine in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia’s south-eastern interior.
