Delphine Arnault daughter of LVMH boss and Forbes' richest man Bernard Arnault, has been made the new chair and chief executive officer of Christian Dior Couture.
Formerly the executive vice president of Louis Vuitton, she will succeed Pietro Beccari who is set to be promoted to chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton.
The moves follow a switch up that saw Bernard’s eldest son, Antoine, become CEO at holding company Christian Dior SE and vice chairman to the board of directors.
Reminiscent of the award-winning ‘Succession’, the fashion tycoon also employs his three other children in management roles.
Alexandre ,30, is an executive at Tiffany, Fredric aged 28 is CEO of TAG Heuer and even 24-year-old Jean heads marketing and product development for Luis Vuitton watches.
Reports speculate whether the family appointments are part of plans to tighten the family’s influence over the conglomerate.
The similarities to the show continue as Bernard Arnault decided to extend the age limit for CEO at LVMH from 75 to 80- the boss turns 74 in March.
LVMH, listed on the Paris stock exchange, is currently trading at €772.3 up 11% for 2023.
