BATM wins 'substantial' cyber security order from government body

BATM Advanced Communications Ltd (LSE:BVC) has received a “substantial” government cyber security order worth US$26mln.

The provider of networking solutions and medical systems said the order is to be delivered within five years starting now.

BATM said the order is with its long-standing government defence customer for the supply of BATM’s high-speed cyber platform that integrates equipment and software.

According to a statement, the system enables the deployment of secure networking to prevent cyber attacks and confidential data leaks.

“As governments and companies face increasingly pervasive cyber security threats from a broad range of actors, we expect to continue to receive more orders for our cyber products and demand to remain strong as we progress through 2023 and beyond,” said BATM chief executive Moti Nagar.
