Scottie Resources hits 194 grams per ton gold over 2.40 metres at Blueberry Contact zone at Scottie Gold mine project

Scottie Resources Corp reported it has hit 194 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 2.40 metres (m) from 148m depth in a drill hole at its Blueberry Contact zone at its Scottie Gold mine project in British Columbia's 'Golden Triangle'.

The company has released selected results from holes at the Blueberry Contact Zone and the hole in question - SR22-156 - also intercepted 4.61 g/t of the yellow metal over 2.5m from 255m depth.

"Across all our targets, hole SR22-156 is the highest-grade intercept that Scottie has ever drilled," said the company's CEO Brad Rourke in a statement.

"Its location significantly expands our bonanza grade zone at the north end of the Blueberry contact structure and we are still awaiting on additional assays down plunge from this sizeable gold hit.

"The grades at depth continue to reinforce that we are exploring a robust system that has substantial upside," he added.

The Blueberry Contact Zone lies 2 kilometres (km) north-northeast of the company's wholly-owned past-producing high-grade Scottie gold mine, 35 kilometres north of the town of Stewart.

The zone is steeply dipping, and there is no current restraint on its potential depth.

Mineralization at the adjacent Scottie gold mine has a vertical extent greater than 450m. The Blueberry Zone lies the Granduc Road, 20km north of the Ascot Resources' Premier project, which is fully financed for construction. Meanwhile, Newcrest's Brucejack mine lies 25km to the north.

Other new assays released from the Blueberry Contact zone by the company included 5.04 g/t gold over 1.5m from 87m depth in one hole, and 5.56 g/t gold over 2m starting from 188.54m depth in another.

Scottie owns the Scottie Gold mine property, which includes the Blueberry Zone and the high-grade, past-producing Scottie gold mine.

It also owns a 100% interest in the Georgia project, which contains the high-grade past-producing Georgia River mine, as well as the Cambria project properties and the Sulu property. Altogether, Scottie Resources holds more than 59,000 hectares of mineral claims in the Stewart mining camp in the Golden Triangle.

The company's focus is on expanding the known mineralization around the past-producing mines while advancing near mine high-grade gold targets, with the purpose of delivering a potential resource.
