GENinCode PLC (AIM:GENI) shares rallied 90% higher on Tuesday following California state licensing approval and CLIA certification of its Irvine laboratory, enabling the provision of its products for the risk assessment of cardiovascular disease (CVD) to patients across 49 states in the US.
The approval marks a major milestone in the commercialisation of the company's polygenic CVD products CARDIO inCode and LIPID inCode, which can now be sold across the US.
GENinCode’s share price jumped to 13.5p, netting the company a market capitalisation of £13.4mln.
