Fireweed Metals Corp (TSX-V:FWZ, OTCQB:FWEDF) said 2022 has been a banner year for the company and, with financing in place, 2023 is set to be even bigger.
In a review of its 2022 accomplishments, the company highlighted its raising of around $49 million - $13 million in January and $35 million in December - and its name change from Fireweed Zinc Ltd to Fireweed Metals to reflect its growth into a leading critical minerals project development company with multi-commodity exposure beyond zinc.
Fireweed Metals CEO Brandon Macdonald noted that these were extraordinary times for the company.
