Powerhouse Energy names new chair, adds non-executive directors

Powerhouse Energy Group PLC (AIM:PHE) has announced the appointment of Antony Royston Gardner-Hillman as the company’s new non-executive chair, effective 1 January 2023.

At the same time, the company also appoints Anthony Clive Gale and David John Hitchcock as non-executive directors of the company.

In a brief operations update, meanwhile, the company told investors it continues to work towards finalising agreements with Peel NRE Ltd to form a special purpose vehicle called Protos Plastics-to-Hydrogen No 1 Ltd, and, a further announcement will be made at an appropriate time.

New chair Gardner-Hillman is a qualified solicitor and co-founded Rocquaine Management Limited in 2020, where he currently serves as chairman. That business provides ownership-structuring and tax consulting services to ultra-high net-worth clients.

Gale, meanwhile, is the founder and managing director of Tony Gale Cleantech Consultants, and has over 30 years of experience in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Hitchcock is currently the chairman and co-founder of States Bridge Capital, a broker and advisor to ‘fast-growing private companies’ and UK public companies.
