Hydrogen Future Industries testing moves towards larger turbines

Hydrogen Future Industries PLC (AQSE:HFI) said it making good progress towards its target of a cheaper and greener way of producing the gas.

Testing of its wind turbine is underway in Montana but Dan Maling, chairman, said this is only the first element of its system.

“During the period ahead we intend to gather data from the 1-metre diameter prototype and plan for the next phase of testing with a larger turbine and with hydrogen production capability integrated.”

HFI listed on Aquis in December and results for the 13 months to end-July 2022 include costs of £159,000 related to this.

Losses for the period were £700,000 with cash and equivalents of £1.38mln at the period end.
